My 4 year old has a speech delay and she was so excited to play with this. We started off with a 30 minute session. So i could see where and what she needed to work on as far as spatial awareness and concepts. It really is a lot of fun. I had to work on helping her make the connection with the spatial concepts inside of the board game rooms and outside of the rooms. Meaning we worked on them outside of the rooms (outside of the game itself) prior to following the instructions on the cards / inside of the rooms. It’s get a little tricky throwing in “besides” which is the same as “next to” (vocabulary expansion). I always show her before having her show me which means that she understands (receptive). First, I give her the directions. Next, I show her the cards. Then, I have her show me what needs to happen in the game. Lastly, I have her read the card out loud. We did 8 concepts in 30 minutes which included me asking her to identify the rooms and not just the objects in the rooms. I had to get up and physically walk into the rooms to help her with that identification / game board connection piece. Let me just say within 30 minutes we made a ton of progress. Spatial concepts is very important for all children and having them show you and following directions means that they understand (receptive). If they get confused it’s ok just have patience and give them an extra few seconds before asking them if they need any help. The colors are bright. Definitely worth the money. I wasn’t sure at first but this is an excellent learning tool. Lire la suite

A great and engaging way to teach and or review directions. On top of, beside, and more. A lot of fun for young children and those that are learning English.
