I got the JoyCat Paint with Water Farm Water Colouring Book as a present for my little niece, as we've had these types of water colouring books before and they've always proved to be a real lifesaver in restaurants and on journeys. It's such a simple but effective activity for toddlers and young children. All they need is the water pen that’s included here, and they can brush over the pages to reveal the bright colours, cute farm animals and hidden surprises. The best part for parents is that there's no paint, spills or mess to worry about. I also really like the fold-out design. It opens up into a lovely larger farm scene for children to explore, but folds away neatly when they're finished. Once the water dries, the colours disappear and they're ready to be used again. We've found these water colouring books particularly useful when we're out and about. They're lightweight, easy to pack and provide a great distraction when you need to keep a little one entertained at a restaurant, in the car or while travelling. No crayons rolling onto the floor, no paints to carry and no clean-up afterwards!

This water painting book is a sweet little activity, but it’s important to note that you only receive one small book, not the three shown in the illustration. Once you know that, what you get is attractive, lightweight and very easy to pop into a bag for on the go entertainment. The book is made from thin foam with colour changing paper, which keeps it light but also means it may not last very long. It feels more delicate than similar products, so I wouldn’t expect it to withstand heavy toddler use over time. That said, the colours and illustrations are genuinely happy and bright. Every page reveals cheerful farm scenes that any toddler would enjoy. It has a wholesome feel, almost like an early introduction to grip skills and simple cause‑and‑effect play. The fact that it’s reusable is a lovely bonus , just let the pages dry and they’re ready to go again. Overall, this is a charming, portable little colouring book with joyful artwork, but the thin materials mean durability is limited. Great for light, occasional use and perfect for keeping a toddler entertained while out and about.

Ich find's super. Mein Sohn zum Glück auch. Er malt immer mal vor sich hin und kann dabei nichts einsauen, was ich gerade bei Kinderprodukten wirklich praktisch finde. Auch fürs Auto ist das Wassermalbuch perfekt geeignet. Es beschäftigt ihn gut, ohne dass man sich wegen Flecken oder Chaos Sorgen machen muss. Gerade unterwegs ist das ein echter Vorteil. Insgesamt ist das eine sehr gute Idee für kleine Kinder. Es verbindet Spaß mit einer unkomplizierten Handhabung. Ich finde es sehr brauchbar für den Alltag mit Kindern. Jedoch muss ich einen Stern abziehen, da der Stift keinen Deckel hat.

Das JoyCat Wassermalbuch-Set mit den Themen Ozean, Bauernhof und Wald kam bei uns direkt gut an. Die drei Bücher bieten ausreichend Abwechslung, sodass nicht nach wenigen Minuten Langeweile aufkommt. Besonders praktisch finde ich, dass die Kinder nur den Wasserstift benötigen und keine Farben, Filzstifte oder Malkreiden herumliegen. Dadurch bleiben Tisch, Sofa und Kleidung sauber, was im Alltag definitiv angenehm ist. Die Motive sind kindgerecht gestaltet und lassen sich leicht erkennen. Sobald die Seiten mit Wasser bemalt werden, erscheinen die Farben sichtbar und sorgen für einen kleinen Überraschungseffekt. Nach dem Trocknen verschwinden die Bilder wieder und können erneut bemalt werden. Das funktioniert zuverlässig und macht die Bücher mehrfach nutzbar. Das faltbare EVA-Material wirkt recht robust und hält auch etwas gröberen Umgang durch kleine Kinderhände gut aus. Der Wasserstift lässt sich einfach befüllen und liegt angenehm in der Hand. Für unterwegs, im Restaurant oder auf längeren Autofahrten ist das Set eine gute Beschäftigungsmöglichkeit. Einen Stern ziehe ich ab, weil einige Seiten etwas mehr Details und Abwechslung vertragen könnten. Außerdem waren die Kinder bei manchen Motiven schneller fertig als erwartet. The paint-with-water idea is simple and mess-free, which I really like. It’s a great activity for quiet time and helps keep children entertained. The pages are easy for small hands to use and the colours are bright and enjoyable. It’s also a nice way to encourage creativity without needing lots of extra supplies. Overall, a fun little activity book and a great choice for toddlers.
